Alex Wouk joined Twain Financial Partners in July 2014. As the Director of Asset Management, Alex leads a team responsible for the ongoing portfolio management of the firm’s Historic Tax Credit (HTC), Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC), and Property-Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) transactions. Alex oversees all construction, compliance and financial monitoring of Twain’s real estate and tax credit assets post-closing. Alex and her team work closely with a wide range of partners, including developers, lenders, investors and consultants.
Prior to joining Twain, Alex was an Asset Manager with U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation (USBCDC) for nearly 4 years. While at USBCDC, Alex specialized in managing NMTC and HTC investments. Alex’s focus was on restructuring challenging assets to both manage compliance and mitigate risk. Alex worked closely with a wide range of partners, including developers, lenders, investors, sponsors, and consultants.
Alex began her undergraduate studies at Duke University and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
