
As Director of Renewable Energy, Michael leads Twain’s renewable energy business development team and is responsible for originating tax credit equity investments, construction loans and permanent loans.
Prior to joining Twain, Michael was VP of Energy & Infrastructure at Live Oak Bank, where he financed large-scale energy projects. Prior to Live Oak, he was VP of Finance at Greenprint Partners, an urban revitalization firm that develops storm water infrastructure projects. Prior to Greenprint, he served on the executive team for an energy efficiency fintech firm, Noesis Energy. Prior to Noesis, he served as a Senior Investment Officer for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office.
Michael obtained his BA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University and his MBA from the George Washington University. Michael is a co-founder of Pivotal Lacrosse, is a Board member of the Mirae Foundation, and is a strategic advisor to start-up companies.
