Matt is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Legal Officer for Twain Financial Partners. As COO, Matt drives Twain’s growth and daily operations across all business lines. Previously, Matt acted as general counsel, oversaw all aspects of Twain’s commercial real estate and renewable energy investment activity and helped lead Twain’s capital raising efforts.
Prior to joining Twain, Matt spent nearly eight years as a real estate and commercial finance attorney with Husch Blackwell LLP, representing developers, lenders, investors and non-profit organizations in residential and commercial transactions.
Matt received his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law and a BA in Political Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Matt currently serves on the Board of Directors, acts as General Counsel, and is President-Elect for Habitat for Humanity St. Louis. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Webster Groves, MO.
