As Managing Director of Client Services, Samantha leads Twain’s Client Services team, managing a debt and tax credit portfolio. Client Services focuses on maintaining long-term relationships by providing excellent service to investors, partners and internal team members.

Following a 7-year stint in public accounting with KPMG, LLP, Samantha joined the Accounting Policy team at U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance (formerly known as U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation, or USBCDC), where she served as a technical accounting resource supporting initiatives including researching new product offerings and modifications to current products and monitoring, evaluating and communicating the impact of accounting changes and developments on the company’s financial statements. Samantha most recently served as the Senior Manager of Sustainability Reporting and Assurance at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, responsible for serving as the lead technical liaison collaborating with volunteer members and leading the development of technical guidance, events, member communications and resources that enhance the skillsets of and help position global assurance, accounting and finance professionals as sustainability leaders adopting environmental, social and governance factors into their business strategies and services.

Samantha received her MSBA and BSBA degrees in Accounting with a second major in General Music from Washington University in St. Louis. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Missouri. Samantha is active within the St. Louis community as a current member and Treasurer of the Board of Directors for Perennial St. Louis and volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America and the St. Ambrose Society. Samantha formerly served as a member of the Boards of Directors for the Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts and the Bach Society of St. Louis. Samantha also formerly served as a volunteer wish granter for Make-a-Wish Missouri. When she’s not working, Samantha is spending time with her husband and their three children or playing old-time folk music on the hammered dulcimer and fiddle.
