For the past year, Twain Financial has been eagerly awaiting the move to its new home at 2200 Washington Ave. in St. Louis’ Downtown West neighborhood.
“We are following through on our commitment to St. Louis to hire more people, and with that, we have outgrown our current space,” said Marc Hirshman, Principal of Twain. “We are excited to be pioneers in this area of Downtown West and to be part of the development.”
The new office will provide a much-needed update for employees with amenities such as an outdoor patio, shared conference spaces, lactation rooms, multiple kitchens, call rooms, garage parking and an abundance of natural light with large windows and skylights.
“The new office will provide a better work environment for our employees,” Hirshman said. “The technology updates will foster better communication with our partners and allow us to be more productive.”
2200 Washington serves as an example to the community and investors on how to successfully finance a triple bottom line real estate development. The transformation of 2200 Washington, from a vacant historic building into an energy efficient office space, demonstrates how local businesses can effectively participate in the redevelopment of an underutilized neighborhood.
The new building is set to open its doors in early December 2019.
